Scrum Master
 

As a software company, our cross-functional development teams are the driving force behind our products. The teams work on complex solutions in 3D imaging and are very close to our customers’ needs. We introduced Scrum to the company with great success six years ago and have recently adopted SAFe as a scaling framework. Come and help us grow and improve our organization as a Scrum Master.

Your Role

  • Coach your Scrum teams to self-organise and autonomously manage their work
  • Organise and facilitate Scrum events as needed by the teams
  • Drive the continuous improvement of our product development process using agile approaches
  • Play a central role in forming new teams and developing existing ones (we currently have eleven cross-functional teams working in close collaboration with other departments)
  • Identify and tackle impediments at the team and organisational level
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data to promote transparency and surface areas where there is potential for improvement
  • Support Scrum teams to autonomously develop complex features in a customer-centric way
  • Take the lead on applying agile principles, tools and techniques
  • Help establish SAFe as our company’s scaling framework
  • Prepare and facilitate SAFe events
  • Maintain and develop close working relationships with other departments

Your Profile

  • A university degree (preferably with an IT focus) or similar academic qualifications
  • Experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in agile IT projects is desirable
  • Experience in agile software development or a scaled Scrum context is desirable
  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills, and able to navigate conflict effectively
  • Very good communication skills, able to work independently with a strong customer and results focus, and team spirit
  • Sound social skills and empathy
  • ‘Inspect and adapt’ comes to you as second nature
  • Scrum Master certification is an advantage (Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master)
  • Some knowledge or experience of agile scaling frameworks is desirable (SAFe, Nexus, LeSS, Scrum@Scale etc.)
  • Fluent German and good English skills
