This 2-day boot camp is a practice-oriented training in which you’ll learn how to safely navigate the “Coordinate Measurement” module in VGSTUDIO MAX through hands-on exercises and in-depth discussions.

Course Objectives

You’ll learn:

  • workflows and concepts of coordinate measurements in VGSTUDIO MAX;
  • how to efficiently implement measurement plans;
  • how to fulfill unconventional requests.

Content

  • Expansion of the basic comprehension and possibilities of standard conforming implementation of coordinate measurements in VGSTUDIO MAX
  • Preparation of objects for measurements (surface determination, alignment)
  • Creation and application of measurement plan templates (datum systems, dimensioning, form and position tolerancing)
  • Principles of reliable measurements on strongly deformed parts
  • Practical exercises with increasing difficulty on various data sets

In order to be able to fully understand and participate in the exercises featured in this course, please understand that previous participation in our Basic Training – Geometry or in our Basic Training – Cast & Mold as well as experience with VGSTUDIO MAX and the interpretation of measurement plans is required.
